Exactly. Bottom of the barrel today can be accomplished by hobbyists and it will still look much better than a 2001 blockbuster hit. A game with a 10 million plus budget would be double A standards.

It definitely won’t be a cutting edge Uncharted 4 or Ryse, graphical wise. Shenmue was that at the time, but noone that invested in the project expects that now. Just nice enough to hold up by todays standards. Which means it doesn’t need 30+million to make. That's why Suzuki went the Kickstarter route.
It’s not that unclear at all. Sony handles the marketing(showing the game at E3 for example) and publishing, while Suzuki has completely free reign over his self funded project, without having to turn to Sony for every decision (when they would’ve funded development). Marketing is a huge part of the budget, money that…
Inflation is nothing compared to the lowered costs of developing what was expensive to develop back then with todays tools. What made Shenmue expensive is something that can be done much cheaper in this day and age. Think making a Super Mario Bros 4 today when there’s even community tools like Mario Maker compared to…
To each his own of course, but I absolutely hated Gintama a few episodes in, so it better not have gotten even worse.
Why does this guy have boobs? Or is he a she? Edit: the one who says "Are you still pissed".
If anything having faced severe adversities make ‘small’ highlights like these that much more impactful, appreciating the smaller things in life.
Probably because you are both right.
Yes, keep reaching further with every new reply, trying to convince yourself the other party just doesn't know how to debate as if that makes your case stronger. I'm quite amused by the way, so don't worry. The only reason I'm mentioning insults is because it makes your already weak arguments look even worse by having…
You long lost the debate when you decided to deviate from the original argument and were doing nothing more than moving goal posts to try and win the argument. Not making an argument anymore just proves that point, just as much as you trying to prove your point by mentioning your knowledge and experience and declaring…
The only thing you’re saying here is that your ad hominem is somehow valid because you find something objectively ignorant, moving goalposts as you go. Simply saying I’m wrong and furthering with the personal insults and declaring a self proclaimed victory without any attempt at discussing the original arguments…
Ad hominem: You’re not objective therefor your argument is less valid. Again, it's a textbook example. You just keep proving my point, but dig deeper by all means.
It IS semantics since I’m not salty at all. That’s just your assumption. EVEN if I was salty and that defined my position, that doesn’t make my argument less valid or yours more valid. That’s a textbook example of ad hominem...
I’ll concede, since it’s just semantics anyway. Describing me as salty and ‘having an attitude’ has nothing to do with the discussion at hand. So let’s just skip that since I haven’t called you anything at all. Please explain how I’m wrong when I say he has practically nothing to do with the picture he’s showing,…
I’m just salty cause he made a good joke? That’s an ad hominem, so no need for the snarky comments when I’m arguing the points only. No need to get personal with the cute and salty, so yeah bring it back to just the discussion.
Yup, measure as in one out of hundred million+. Not even gonna respond to your ad hominem argument.
Same to migration to the US. America may not have even happened if not for Europe. Europe may not have happened if not for Africa Where do you draw the line? At 1 out of 100,000,000+ working Americans around that time? Seems awfully close to zero.
So a totally different person, indirectly funding a project he or she likely doesn’t even had a vote on counts as being involved... Might as well go a bit further and say since they came from immigrants who made it possible for the US to be what it is, indirectly it’s the whole world who can show off that picture.…
He isn’t talking about all Americans, just fatty Americans. But if the shoe fits...
