This is going to backfire spectacularly for Facebook. As they (and maybe the world?) is about to find out, Facebook needs us. We don’t need Facebook.

I would amount their terms and policies to theft and fraud. Anything on the store should not be labeled as a purchase, but more a loan until they decide (for any reason) that you do not deserve it. You can appeal, but that takes about a week and then you’ll get a generic response email that barely covers your actual…
I’d like to add Walkabout Mini Golf. My family lives in different parts of the country and while we enjoyed some of Rec Room, Walkabout is the only game that made it feel like we were all hanging out together. It’s like being at a very good mini golf course.
I would not recommend buying this with the plan of using a burner account. They have they have methods to determine if you’re using a real account or not, but it’s bad enough it will sometimes flag real accounts (like mine). They will require you tie it to a cell phone even though they say it’s optional to use a phone…
I agree with you on the temps and the undervolting that is almost certainly happening, but your complaints about battery life and weight are a known quantity when talking about a gaming laptop.
Yeah, I’m not sure what to think about this because 98C is not something I would ever be happy about in a desktop or laptop. Not only because the lap part of the laptop would be out of the question, but at 98C you are risking damaging your components. When I overclock I try to never go above 90C and that’s…
It’s not illegal to hype a stock, and they were specifically saying DO NOT SELL. The hedge funds made educated decisions to short the stock, hoping to cash in on the lowly poor and got burned to a massive degree.
Enlighten us then.
That’s ridiculous. The government should have NO say in what a private company can allow or disallow on their platform outside of the standard discrimination laws. Even free speech (which does not apply here) does not cover speech meant to cause harm such as yelling “fire!” in a crowded theater.
Good for them. I hope we can see more businesses choosing sanity over profits. Supposedly, that’s how this whole capitalism thing should work in the minds of people against regulation. Funny how it’s so rare though.
I’m a pretty big Star Trek fan, but I cannot endorse Discovery. For a futuristic, enlightened, humanity driven show, there sure is a lot of overly emotional episodes in season 3 that just doesn’t feel like Star Trek to me.
Aside from this not being a review, who pissed in your cheerios??
As a bald man that often struggles with any over-head headphones, I’d be passing on these even without the ridiculous price tag. I’m not even sure people with hair would like the eventual matting that these would cause, but I’ll leave that to y’all to decide.
I wonder if anyone else stopped for some Spicy Ramen in the Last City? I interacted with the pot in the kitchen and it gave me a 4x slow debuff for about a minute. Nothing huge, but was happy to find something out of the way.
“Right? My impression of the gig economy was that these were never meant to be replacements for full time jobs. These were fill in jobs you could do for extra cash; basically a part time job.”
Not at all. For projectors you would be looking for 2500 lumens or higher for daytime use. Really though, if you want good picture you should target 3,000 lumens.
Ah yes, but you see both sides are the exact same! The House is trying to give too much help, and the senate is trying to give too little. See? The exact same!
While you do get a screen for that price, it’s definitely not equal in every way unless you’ve had beet luck than I have. Every 3rd party replacement screen I’ve tried has cracked much easier than OEM.
That’s been tried. Not everything is able to be made by cheap labor.
That’s not how encryption works at all. If the drive is encrypted then you need the password to unencrypt unless you have some NSA level decryption capabilities. When a customer drops off a laptop for water damage repairs, there would be no exchange of credentials either. Nothing on the OS would be of value to the…
