How the hell would performance have nothing to do with it? It likely wasn't the only reason, but if you think you won't get some gains from having the larger model, you're delusional.

No part of the description of why I was refused to see it was that either games that are sold out or broadcast in my local market were not viewable online. I verified every time that they were not being broadcast in my local market, and was not able to view, so it must have been because they were sold out games.

We supposedly have 45Mbps download and didn't have any issues with streaming illegally in HD, but for whatever reason, Sunday Ticket would crap out constantly. I had high hopes as a dedicated cord cutter, but it just wasn't there for me. I hope it improves, but I can't say I'm holding my breath.
