I can't find the study where I read about this, so right now I can't back it up. It did cover how being in a "thumper" vehicle can cause millisecond disruptions in brain activity. This would lead to the conclusion that it does have an effect, but yes I was exaggerating with the seizure effects.

Too bad excessive bass is incredibly disruptive to your body's electrical signals. Wearing this on a regular basis would be a good way to get all the effects of a seizure without having that pesky epilepsy.
