You're thinking of either the 914 (fairly common) or the 914-6 (fairly rare). The 916 was only produced in prototype forms (unobtainium). Now, to get into what's actually available, yes... there are a lot of decent 914's with 916 aftermarket kits.

Not that I'm an angel but there is one rule I always follow and that is NEVER be rude or mean to people who are providing you a service. Bar tenders, waiters, delivery boys, etc. Their job sucks.
