I can’t stand the ‘car reviews’ where some nobody brings his camera into a dealership showroom or lot, just walks around the car showing off the outside, maybe the inside, doesn’t even do a proper road test drive, and that’s it.

What an easy game to play

Because Tesla’s are EVERYWHERE in California and the i8 owner chooses one because he wants a 2 seater sports car, not a 4 seater sedan, and wants something that actually stands out on California roads because the Teslas are so commonplace now

I live in Los Angeles, seen about 4 or 5 of them in the wild so far, they look pretty damn nice.

I’m skeptical that many ppl had their hopes & dreams resting on a high performance Buick

Regardless, the point is, don’t superimpose your wants/don’t wants on ALL Audi fans, you want to speak for yourself and the people you personally know in the SoCal Audi club, that’s fine, but I and others are not among them

We want it, because Audi S4 fans in the US don’t have an equivalent of the 3 series GC in terms of styling. And the liftback hatch does provide a functional need that the typical sedan trunklid doesnt. How do you meet that need for those who want to retain that sedan form overall without going to hatchback or avant

You’re the third person to say that btw, refresh the comment replies. Just pointing it out because i find it funny

So to compete with the likes of the CLA or A3 sedan? I can see that.

those coupe rear rooflines aren’t as headroom friendly for taller adults that sit in the rear, that’s why. hence the strong market for traditional sedan rooflines

Because a lot of the UScommenters are idiots and don’t realize this model trim has been available outside of the US for years and is nothing new

A lot of audi fans have been waiting for the sportback versions of the A5 and S5 to be released stateside since they’ve been sold in Europe for years. Please don’t speak for all of us, thanks.

Unfortunately, yours and likeminded people’s money does not seem to be enough to motivate them...

Yeah walk over to that dealership and look at it in person

but a 2 series has so little rear legroom, it would make those extra 2 doors kind of pointless.

BMW could easily do an M4 GC, I guess they just choose not too.

Yeah...but, Murica

Nope, but I had to post in multiple places because a reply specifically to you, isn’t seen by others who don’t read your specific post.

According to this Audi of America product release leak, the S5 sportback will be sold here as well
