Exactly. I’m sure many of us saw this coming a mile away...he loves the crowds, he loves being told how wonderful he is, he loves the idea of being powerful, but he does not love actually having to work for it. That is the job of peasants.

The Republicans will never impeach him, short of him literally murdering someone on the steps of the Capital with a full camera crew (not from Fox) filming every second. He could resign, maybe.
Not gonna do that either. Despite not being from here, this is the most Florida president we’ve had in the history of institution. If you want Florida Man and his wife Crystal Metheny to do anything that might harm him or his followers, you’re outta luck.
The British betting sites now have it odds on (odds of 10/11 or 52+% chance) that Trump will get impeached or resign during his term. I suspect that a lot of those bets are voodoo wish fulfillment, but there has to be some smart money in there as well (looking at you Russian mafia).
When Howard Stern of all people says that Donald Trump has a fragile ego and he won’t make it as president, that says something.
It’s clear he hates the job, and only loves being adored. Unfortunately for him, the presidency is a thankless job where he will be subject to endless criticism.
*Actual size.
Or as our esteemed former pres said, “there’s a saying in Tennessee—well, it’s a saying in Texas, probably Tennessee—fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, won’t get fooled again.”
But zero out of two is.
To be fair, he’s only getting an early start because his impeachment will inevitably slow things down, re: campaigning.
Well, one out of two ain’t bad.
Well you can’t expect him to start the campaign after the country has been reduced to radioactive rubble. The dead don’t show up to rallies! Gotta get stumping now while the infrastructure is still standing and the approval rating isn’t trending negative!
Thanks for the link, that’s where I hit a wall in my search too. Since I was a minor, I was never issued a Certificate of Naturalization so I don’t think I can use this to get a copy of something that never existed in the first place. My parents and my brother (who was 19 at the time) all have the certificates.
The fact that maybe someone at some point maybe committed a crime as a DACA recipient does not come into play in any way when discussing DACA as a whole. It’s disingenuous and does not relate to this discussion. You are not eligible for DACA if you’ve been convicted of a crime.
You are correct that DACA is an executive action, which only means that it is policy issued from the executive branch (in this case Homeland Security). It was not an executive order, because no executive order can grant illegal immigrants any type of legal status.
