You figure there are probably one or two that they keep around for Red Flag operations/exercises which they do at Nellis. Not only do they get to test their own skills but the skills and radar of other NATO aircraft.

It seems high, but, for a well-sorted 912 (which is what this is) that's the going market price. A few years ago you could find a sorted 912 for $7k or so, but this isn't a few years ago.
Yes. Indeed. My brother was stationed on a Kidd-Class destroyer out of Norfolk. I was lucky enough to go on a Tiger Cruise with my dad in the early 90s. It was a blast. I was able to watch my brother stand watch during an UNREP and watch a fly-off from a carrier as it came home to Norfolk. We were actually able to…
As soon as it finished airing, the wife said "load up jalopnik!"
It was someone famous; my wife pointed it out. I forget who it is. It was George Martin. D'oh.
Probably a typo, but not unprecedented. When we were only getting the 4.2L V8 Audi A8s in the USA (D2 body-style, 1997-2003) the EU versions included 2.8L (the N/A V6) which seems kind of small for such a large car (well, especially for Americans.)
When my wife and I were touristing in London around Abbey Road and the…
As soon as I was saw this and my mind was digesting it, I was thinking this needs shooting-brake.
My first car was an '86 LeSabre. FWD, 3.8L V6 goodness.
The car with the camera must have been acting as backup for one of the two parties involved; the only reason he'd speed along and pass others to keep up with them, and even pass the Camry at one point, because he know the Camry would eventually pass him. Seems kind of planned out.
The C2 frames were built to handle small and big blocks. Remember, this car wasn't unibody; it was body-on-frame, and those frames stayed almost identical from late 1962 (intro of '63 MY) through 1967. However, the early C2 bodies lacked a notch in the front crossmember of the frame. This notch is required for big…
Reusing these same designations over and over and over again is hurting my brain. But #brandingwin ?
Admittedly I didn't search too hard, but I saw most stuff seemed to geared for E46's...
I need a new front bumper cover for my car; that's the biggest thing. Also, suspension. Any deals on coilovers?
The regular "oil change special" packages at AutoZone are still in effect. <$40 for 5 quarts of synthetic plus a filter for the Volvo XC90 is always a deal.
Cool stuff, but not much for my E39 M5 :(
Oh, let's see.
I would love to see a similar review of the Mazda 3; the 2014 3 is gorgeous and the wife is coveting a hatchback.
99% of this has been fixed and they've completely remodeled. The old terminals you'd take a bus to/from have been demolished. I've been on both sides of that hellhole, and after the remodel it's a different universe.
It has been about 28 days since the last time...
Hopefully a few of the new routes change this. However, the way the system is designed, you can get two places, either you're headed from downtown out to other places, or from other places to downtown.
