My general tastes in life almost always boil down to sober, minimalist, classic... I guess baby names are no exceptions; I have a very traditional (french) name that's known around the globe and I love how timeless/ageless it is. Same for my brother, who also has the same type of name. If your kid is going to have to

I don't know if you speak french, but since you seem to be pretty familiar with french canadian names, let me interest you in this sublime webpage that shows how awful AWFUL the spelling can be on those popular Québec names.

Same here! I love how it changes from french R to english R to spanish R etc. etc. Seeing a poor cuban boy (I was paired up with him during a two-week trip with my music class) try to pronounce my full-of-vowels-that-only-make-one-simple-sound-french-canadian name was priceless.

The french version of "Megan" is "Mégane". I don't know if it was popular in the 60s, but I'd say nowadays it's not very common nor considered traditional, at least in french canada. I don't really know how common it is in France or other french-speaking countries.

"Gâchis" is written with a circumflex, just saying. #corrections

I seem to remember that they did try to work with violet contact lenses for the Targaryens, but it ended up looking too weird on camera. Something like that.

Well Cersei mostly seems to wear "v-necked" gowns that end just short of cleavage, with the occasional shoulder baring dress (in the books at least, I can't remember if I've seen one on the show). It's not about having the women wrapped in fur, it just felt like too much having cleavage down to her stomach.

Am I the only one who thought Margaery Tyrell's dresses were somewhat... a bit too intense cleavage-wise? It just seemed out of place with the usual noblewoman garb. And I know they're making her sluttier than in the books, but still. It was a strange choice of wardrobe, I think.

Seriously. Native french speaker here and I could only understand a weird word here and there.

Wow! So strange, I've never had someone tell it like that, which is pretty how I feel about it! Babies creep me out for the most part and if I got pregnant now I would totally "take care of it"... But somehow I've ALWAYS been slightly turned on when thinking about it. Something about losing control over your body, I

Oh wow. Pretty weird though, since most people probably don't remember Osha the wildling and the two actresses look NOTHING alike. Strange indeed.

Yep. Yep he does.....

Not quite. The first one might be a little, but that's almost always the case when starting works of fantasy/sci-fi. Loads of characters and places and weird names.

Actually there is a lot more teasing between Asha and Theon in the book. I wonder why they changed her name though, it just seems pointless. I'm with you on the Littlefinger scene. I guess it was used to show how little he actually cares about his whores and considers them investment... But in this sort of packed

Glad to know I'm not alone ...

Well, this is complete bullshit. I seriously don't understand how these people can take themselves seriously with this "pre-pregnancy" crap. Makes me want to bang my head on a wall. Repeatedly.

Oh God, mine is late too, but because I'm a moron and I never really "tracked" it, I'm not sure how exactly late it is. I'm not as stressed out as I feel like I should be though, probably because I'm still in the mindset of "NAH, won't happen to ME"... I guess I'll give it one more week and then it'll be time for my

Wow that actually give me hope! P in V never made me come, but then I'm still in the stages of trying a bunch of positions until I find "the spot". Boyfriend suggested doggy style a while back and I tried it for a moment, but somehow it feels really weird not to face him... Guess I'm gonna have to give it a second

Well, the video is kind of fun to look at. The kind of slow-mo/B&W/artsistic shots that I'm fond of anyway. The song itself is nothing amazing and I'm not a fan of the empty, high voice she uses in the chorus, but it's not so bad paired up with the video. I guess I'm in a big grey zone with this.

Just because I'm saying this particular issue is this particular little comment thread is not a big deal does not mean that A. Every issue of racism is meaningless/overreacting and that B. I'm telling YOU, by stating my opinion, that your feelings are wrong. I did absolutely nothing of that.
