Painting IS hard. I’m a little peeved by the implication, when we criticize Dubya’s paintings, that art should only be open to people with professional-level talent. If making art can bring someone comfort or peace or satisfaction or whatever, then they should fucking do it.

....unless the dress was obviously made of something delicate, you can almost always put hand wash stuff in the washing machine and keep it out of the dryer. Especially for cheap clothes they put that on to protect themselves more than out of a concern for the fabric.

Same. Also, any “hand wash” cycle on a machine is a damn lie, so don’t feel like you’re suffering a loss there.
