IP ownership is often a very misunderstood topic, and often one that requires digging for information.

I feel it is a reaction to nude chun li mod live in a fighting tournament. Also slutty Ashley and Leon dress gaining too much media traction for their liking.

Holy shit, just when I thought I couldn’t dislike Phil Spencer any more.

Dude’s idea of success is ‘buy all the competition’ rather than, you know, actually investing in his own developers to make better games.  Sure buddy, try to buy the company that has consistently trounced the shit out of you in console sales

Here is some FREE PR advice for them . . .

Quake II is also 13 years older than Red Dead Redemption, and the Quake franchise is basically dormant, while Red Dead Redemption II came out five years ago. That makes a difference in how much you can reasonably charge.

Yep, it’s 10 bucks for a brand new Quake II remaster that runs at an insane framerate, is 4K, still has multiplayer, includes both PC expansions and the entire N64 campaign, and includes a whole new campaign on top of that. Versus 50 bucks for this lazy port that removes content and doesn’t boost the graphics nearly

Lets be real though if you somehow managed to get 7 buddies around a TV you're probably not in it for a serious match, I'm sure the beers and shenanigans would be flowing.

*Dijkless.

I know how to do my own plumbing, electrical work and auto repair. I can’t make a Mission Impossible movie.

After all this shitshow happens, in 40 years studios and theaters will be asking for a premium for movies “Made with REAL PEOPLE” (tm)

Except Nintendo has been giving games timeline placements since Zelda 2 which was a direct sequel to Zelda 1. ALttP was established as a prequel to Zelda 1. OoT was established as a prequel to ALttP. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess were both established as sequels to OoT. etc. etc. People wouldn’t obsess over the

I’M SPARTICUS!

It actually does. Read the text of the law. Reproducing ANY PORTION of the news content, including the title of the article or lead sentence (which is what Facebook currently shows) requires paying the publisher. Similarly, just allowing users to post a link which “facilitates access to the content” on the publisher’s

An academic colleague of mine was supporting this law (and the UK/Australian laws its based on) as being about Publishers getting a “fair share” of revenue from Facebook. The flaw in that argument is that (1) Facebook makes money on ads, not content that people share, and (2) Facebook doesn’t choose which content to

Anyone who wants to claim this would be good for the industry as a whole and good for consumers as a whole needs to explain how the Discovery + Warner Bros merger worked out for workers and consumers.

Normally I’m anti-flaying, but hey desperate times...

Apu is a loyal father, a business owner and valued member of the community; he is a positive depiction of a human being in a show where alcoholics and family physical violence are running gags.

Speaking of, also getting some Sonic 4 PTSD from the sterile graphics.
