To be honest, it might not have anything to do withot your own network. All Remote Play connections go through Sony’s server, regardless of the where the source and client devices are located (same room, same house, same town, etc).

as Lima mentioned, all the base version of the previous console generation had horrible problems with the game. Digital Foundry even made videos about them. Not to mention all the reviewers lambasting it. The removal from the psn store was justified for how poorly the game was.
