I'm diabetic, and generally, nothing spikes blood sugar worse than carbs. Controlling my blood sugar is top priority, and losing weight is second. I find I can do both if I limit carbs and don't get stupid with fats — but any meal should have all three in some combination.

The Xacto knife is the only thing I use on the Artifact, and it's not that good honestly. Or maybe I just need a different tool at work.

Zer0 is the most annoying of them all. The haiku is kind of funny at first, but you want to kill him yourself when he says the "trap card" line for the 43rd time in the past hour. My favorite really is the simple "I disappear."

I was practically ordered by a friend to play Suikoden. I didn't really enjoy it much, but I ragequit when I got to the bit with the Hobson's Choice about drinking the (obviously drugged) tea.

We should of course expect this kind of trolling from someone with your user name.

By "can" you mean "whether you like it or not." And I definitely don't.

We use the Nine Hundred at work and I like it. I don't have any experience with the other options.

Absolutely agreed. I'd at least do two playthroughs of the original game plus the General Knoxx DLC — both for the sake of story and because it was an excellent game. The first Vault Hunters' abilities are very different from the new five, and if you're like many people you'll love playing as Lilith and/or Mordecai.

At work, I have a typical "library table" sort of desk — upon which I set an unused bookshelf face-down with a couple of pieces of particle board as a top. A couple of cardboard boxes raise my monitors up above keyboard level.

Maybe your expectations were wrong.

Yes, it would.

Many years ago, I was on the staff for a text-based MMO. It was all very professional and more or less rated PG. It had these "unique item feeders" that staff members fill with rare/unique items to be randomly distributed as monster loot. When the bins are getting low there's a warning message that keeps nagging

I suggest just relaxing and going ahead with that projectile vomiting. Perhaps a Fox News talent scout will discover you and it'll make your career.

As it says on her Twitter feed: "Mechromancer. Not mech-romancer. Kissing DT would taste like a mix of rust, electricity and the cat guts I forgot to clean off him last week."

Actually, smartasses, a lot of people move into places that have ceiling fans already installed and thus have never seen a manual for one.

Lamy is the best — love my Al-Star — but at over $20 is it really a *budget* pen?

I didn't even try that one, because I didn't want to run around slagged all the time.

I think it's a glitch. Inspiring Shotgun 1340 did that with me.
