There was an article about that here, a few years back.

Username checks out.

The terminology could of course be better, but I for one appreciate being pointed in the direction of more suitable products, especially when there’s stuff out there that’s actively hostile to black hair.

I don’t even watch GoT and I am here for this. Creative people are often weirdly psychic when it comes to tuning in to what’s going on in the world.

I vaguely remember that when I was little they were actually shaped like babies, but that could just be my imagination.

I’ve seen the occasional elephant as well.

I wish you could have drawn the 70-something retired pharmacist who used to show up and pose nude in MY life drawing classes. I am still pondering the question of whether he’s really “nude” if he’s still got his glasses and his watch on.

Doğru, gerçekten

Is this stuff not available in the US? It’s kind of a partial fake tan I guess you could say. No idea how well it works (or not).

I am sure even if you haven’t been drinking that could be a difficult walk.

BBC marine life documentaries are great. There are a lot more — I even got to watch a nice long one in-flight once.

For what it’s worth her husband is Tillyaev — the masculine form of the surname.

Happy to see Stephanie Miller’s still doing her thing.

that is so you are less likely to: a)figure out how simple it is to make the stuff at home, and b)complain about the high prices they want for it.

History. All the former Ottoman territories have overlapping food traditions — for example the Bulgarians eat дюнер (döner), which is gyro or shawarma elsewhere, and wash it down with айран (ayran) — which I think is buttermilk or something of that sort IIRC and has other names elsewhere for sure.

On revisiting there are two versions, Sesame Street (where they keep the scary octopus in the background) and the Muppet Show, which has a heck of a lot more dancing fish — and the octopus is a bongo drummer in the band. It works as a song for children, and I don’t mean that as a putdown at all.

My first awareness of the song was a Sesame Street sketch with a lot of dancing fish and a Muppet octopus or something like that, which I might still watch today. (now looking up on YouTube)

In the 80s PathMark had a whole aisle of “No-Frills” generic products. This reminds me of that except the generic packaging is fancier this time round.

Phallocentric.

You know who fries the hell out of some chicken? The SYRIANS. If they ever get to the US in significant numbers, things will never be the same.
