Is it text heavy? Or is it import friendly to non-Japanese-fluent folks? I’m actually in Japan right now on vacation and wonder if I should pick it up before I go home next week!

Actually, it’s a closed technical test, specifically named as such because it’s not at beta stage yet. An actual beta test has already been planned for a later date closer to launch.
CUBIVORE IS MY FAVORITE GAMECUBE GAME!
I think this possibly may explain why Dinklage’s performance was so off-kilter. I imagine he had recorded his dialogue early, based on the original script. Then suddenly, MASSIVE SCRIPT CHANGES. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was busy (like shooting a season of Game Of Thrones) and Bungie could only get him for a…

I remember reading somewhere (I can’t verify this is true or not) that the royalties clauses were pushed into the negotiations by screen actors who also happen to voice act in games. You know, people in the Kevin Spacey/Keifer Sutherland range.
Technically, dubbing is harder than prerecording in the sense that the Japanese voice actors are recording straight from a script and have the freedom to naturally act without time or syncing restraints. A dub actor has to try and act through the translated dialogue AND get it to fit in the mouth flaps of a character…
I had a subscription to Next Generation magazine way, way back. Each month there was a multimedia CD with game previews and interviews. One of them was Conker’s Quest. The super-happy whistle theme you hear in the above video was also playing in said Conker video on the CD. It was permanently burnt into my brain.
I wonder how much of that DLC cost goes to the license fee for each train manufacturer and rail line? For example, I imagine to make the Los Angeles Commuter Rail F59PH loco add on, the developer pays a license fee the Los Angeles MTA for the livery and another license fee to Electro-Motive Diesel, Inc., the…
It’s nice to see that the voice actors get GIANT NAME credit along with the screen actors.
I’ve all kinds of run-ins with monsterous GameStop employees in the past, but the one I go to now is damn good— everybody who works there is very friendly, legitimately game-expert and super helpful. Also very diverse race/gender-wise!
I like cutscenes the first time. The second time, I may pick up on something I missed. The eleventy-billionth time, I hate them. A lot.
Technically, it’s a bunch of little tiny card-sized books all presented in a jumbled order...
Drinking game? Hah! WE SHOULD BE PLAYING WITH SKOOMA.
This happens in every business. Like toys, for instance. A bunch of MBAs think they know best and that’s how you end up with Angry Birds Telepods.
The gag here reminds me of The Onion’s “World Of World Of Warcraft”.
I WILL BE KING OF DANCE BATTLE.
There actually is animation. It’s not simply audio! Entire scenes play back in three dimensions. The light congeals into the shapes of people and you can walk around and witness what happened and where it happened, like a fight or an argument or a romantic interlude. (Imagine fully animated scenes where everyone is…

Hmm... “Northlebot” doesn’t roll off the tongue as well.
