Sounds like a personal problem. I find most Windows trackpads feel plasticky and cheap; there's a distinct tactile difference between Mac trackpads and the area around them. For reference, I use a Mac laptop for work and fooling around and a Windows desktop for gaming, so I'm both kinds of fanboi.

Bose doesn't sound like shit. A lot of their products fall in a price range that doesn't justify the price tag when other audio competitors are brought in to the mix. The Bose Sound Dock is a great product from them.
