I can't hate on this car at all. VW finally makes a car that drivers love...no DSG, no Auto, no outrageous power that would be hard to control. It's truly a perfect car on paper...lets see if it takes the piss out of the WRX 265!!

@GeeHalen: Don't forget to upgrade to that glass pack muffler!
This college kid won't be driving the Veyron. The transport companies that carry insurance will do all the transporting. I doubt the cars they show will have more than 20-100 miles on them to keep them pristine.
@Totoros Porsche: Toyota employs more Americans than Chrysler now, so they are as important to the economy.
@Spasticteapot: Lexus does not target to Toyota buyers. I can assure you that most new Lexus buyers have come from cross competitive brands, and not Toyota. The pricing is totally different and most of the cars are not similar to other Toyota models of the past.
@ChiefPontiaxe:One of the Key points of "Popemobile" is to protect the Pope from bullets. If he gets stuck with that shit, he might shoot himself!
@underwear-ninja: Tell, aunt Flo and Gelda in Fort Lauderdale. The thing this car has going for it is quality, its dead quiet, and the roof retracts. The owners don't care about its lack of performance...I have driven one, and they are scary smooth, and insanely quiet.
@accipiter: It's the Korean Kadillac.
@Paul Y. requires regruntling: I am guessing they built a few extra for 2011, and maybe a few for 2012. The only reason they kept it going, was Fiat realised it was actually making them some money...Enough for them to bridge a few months of TARP loans.
@icntdrv: If you had a Caliber, Compass, and Patriot that would be three of a kind.
@Type R: Well, if you only had a few thousand to budget on a car, and wanted something new...you would have to consider this. From a western standpoint its garbage, but getting off a scooter and into a fully functioning car for less than some of us pay for insurance is quite nice.
@hellcamino59: Ah well, its actually quite a clever car. I myself don't care for it, but my brother in law loves his. He got a rare manual transmission base model and it came better equipped than a Corolla or a Mazda3 and cost a lot less. A/C, ABS, Trac Control, Cruise, all for $17k in Canada.
@KillerKoala: I dunno, there are lots available around where I live. Might have higher mileage or be a little older than I would want...but still well under $5000.
@geistkoenig: You should have ended with possible death.
