It’s a good lesson. Now, when MS announces something similar, we will be able to make the assumption that they do not respect feature parity.

This is kind of worded like it’s a decision from Larian, but I have to assume it’s really Xbox seeing all the BG3 hype and deciding to change their policy so they can get BG3 out faster.
I would honestly rather Microsoft go back on their word instead of making everyone suffer equally so they can keep it.
In a way it did, because most studios stopped releasing their multiplatform games on Nintendo platform.
oh man, I can see the snowball effect coming. If one studio got the pass to have “different” version from Series X and Series S, I can see other studio asking the same now.
The more I think about this response the more it strikes me as silly. So do you think that no adult man should ever interact with potentially underage girls based on the fact that a statistically small number of them are pedophiles? Cuz that’s going to make finding teachers even harder than it is currently. Despite…
I’ll keep saying it, Taylor Swift fans are the dumbest and most useless people ever.
Yeah, “hilarious,” like the AV Club morphing from an incisive outlet for pop culture into a Taylor Swift fansite.
It was a bit unprofessional, but you’re trying to make it more than what it actually was...which is just as weird.
Hang on, I’m a TF2 player, so I lack some context... am I understanding this correctly?
Also, like. It’s not “review bombing” if the criticism is legitimate. They’re just normal reviews.
I don’t understand why i’m supposed to get worked up about “review bombing” for corporations that spend millions on reputation management to buy reviews
“This means more maps, heroes [locked behind a paywall], game modes, missions [locked behind a paywall], stories [locked behind a paywall], events, cool cosmetics [locked behind a paywall], and features.”
Ever expanding game in all the ways except you know, the ones we promised when we sold it to you.
The detachable side controllers are not appealing. Joycons are the worst controllers every made. The compromises in layout and size to make those things detachable are simply not worth it.
The ergonomics on the right controller look terrible. They’ve got the lower offset analog stick, and then a touch pad below that, and the grip buttons on that side are also super weird.
$50 for a 13-year-old game is not a great value, when that game is not coming with any upgrades, visual enhancements, QoL improvements, etc. You can buy the game for less than $20 second-hand. So what is $50 really getting you other than the convenience of playing it on a PS4 and presumably faster load times? I mean,…
It’s worth what people are willing to pay for it. If not enough people buy it, watch it go on sale quick.
And people still buy it even though from all accounts this is Rockstar crapping out the laziest port they could get away with because they know people will still pay for it.
This is why ONLY fans of things should be allowed to create new things based off those old things! Take the newest Star Wars Trilogy! J.J. Abrams and Rian Johnson constantly talked about how huge of Star Wars fans they were, and how much they loved the originals, and how much it means in their life and how it’s always…
