I have a feeling Henning’s game was meant to come out this year, but they got canned and EA told Revolver, you gotta make us a game with a lightsaber and it needs to be out before episode IX releases... hence the shitty looking Alpha slice 5 months before release with no hope of a much needed delay.

Wow this really looks terrible.

Honestly, outside the world visuals, it doesn’t look that interesting. The environment seems very static, the protag still seems very bland, and the platforming very basic.

This looks disappointingly on-rails.

True that, it would be amazing. I actually kept hoping they’d release a more powerful switch this year, like a pro, and we’d start seeing even more smooth console ports to the switch.

This may be the best ever. Microsoft fucked up so hard.

Ugh. As a gamer who only ever plays single-player games, I thought Ninja Theory had really found a great niche with Hellblade: a shorter game with AAA production value for half the cost. I really hoped they would continue making games in that vein.

Nobody who bought that collector’s edition, myself included, even paid attention to the bag.

They give out free canvas bags to everyone attending their show.

how’d it feel paying $200 for a toy helmet, a trash bag, and an MMO with a server cap of what, 6 people?

Kaz Hirai successfully knee capped Sony during the PS3 so badly they are in many ways(cell processor, obtuse development choices, scuttled partnerships) playing catch up with itself. The PS4 could have had backward comparability, could have avoided introducing far too early PSnow just to tap into last gen’s catalog.

My all-time favorite E3 dunk, even more than “$299"

I’m really pining for the days when a company could torpedo their launch with a press conference before it even hits the market.

Too late, no good will left from me. I don’t even want to play ES6. Moving from being someone who 100%ed Fallout 3, 4, Oblivion, and Skyrim to just not wanting to see another Bethesda game is kind of sobering.

Lately I’ve been feeling the same about Bioware games. I just finished replaying DA:I and as unsatisfying as

Was worried I’d have to start taking Xbox seriously now that they bought up all this talent, but thankfully they’re apparently gonna have them make team-based multiplayer action games just like all the other MS studios, so I can continue to ignore the platform.
