Nah... EA’s perfectly reasonable to force a release date after almost 7 years of development. Anthem’s failings are 95% on BioWare. They had an extraordinary amount of time to get Anthem in a good state for release, but through comically bad mismanagement, they didn’t even have a working game until 18 months prior to

According to kotaku, letting them do their damn jobs is 90% of how they got into this mess.

I had forgotten how much I love this video. Thank you.

According to Jason’s article, the biggest reason why Anthem ended up the way it did is because Bioware mismanaged the project from the get-go.

I will take literally any excuse to post this:

Bruce Campbell? I want to thank you for how much that made me laugh, you brought immeasurable joy to my day

Wrong Bruce, mate.

Protip: stop running all the time and you won't be so tired

I mean, they ARE getting up there — but it struck me as an odd descriptor to use in the lede, especially for a band that’s still crazy energetic at shows. I’m in my mid-thirties and run half-marathons but I wish I had half the energy of Bruce Dickinson.

Sounds like their holding company...seriously doubt the group has even heard of Ion Maiden. And as for “ageing”, that band IMO still kicks more ass than most metal bands half their age.

Do you mean Dragon Age? As last time I checked EA wasn’t really in the business of single player RPGs anymore or do you mean Anthem the game that EA has actively called a disappointment and that was before its twitch viewership fell into the low hundreds...

Seriously, pull this thing back, admit you made a mistake, and FIX IT.

I wonder if it wouldn't be better if they pulled a Final Fantasy XIV...

In all my years working I have only ever met ONE HR director that I thought genuinely was working in that department to protect employees from the company rather than the other way around. Everyone loved her, she always went to bat for us if there was an issue.

Your first statement is absolutely correct. If you ever have a claim you need to come to HR with that is a potential career-ender for you or the person you are bringing the complaint against, retain a lawyer first and go through the scenario with them. That way, your leaving the company will be on your own terms

Jason, if you’re not careful, you might win a Pulitzer.

I feel like this needs to be a note attached to every single one of these workplace harassment stories:

I NEVER KNEW THE GODDAMN ELBOW WAS SO EFFECTIVE AGAINST ABOBO!
