Yeah, maybe do a little more research? While many feminists support sex worker rights, a LOT of feminists — big name, influential feminists, not just fringey tumblr radfems — are very anti sex work and support "end demand" policies that put sex workersin danger.

I just finished this book and it was awesome. She's hysterical. Looking forwards to this.

I'm already naked on the internet. I don't have to care about this.

Likewise. I have very large breasts, and at 24 they're still magically perky, but I know that won't last. I like the size and would rather not get a reduction, so perhaps this will be my 40th bday present to myself instead of a lift. That'll be plenty of time for them to work out the kinks.

Haven't heard back. He's probably overwhelmed with offers, though. :(

I already emailed him.

No one's going to be home. Bring a friend.

Yeah, except they arrest them, take them to a CHURCH, deny them a lawyer, and tell them they have to join the diversion program or go to jail. It's questionably constitutional, and pretty obviously a human rights violation.

He's barely a celebrity, but if you know who he is you'll appreciate this story. Whatever, it's short.

I'm aware this is a stock photo, but she looks eerily similar to what I've always imagined Jolie actually looks like.

I've never stripped, but I've done other kinds of sex work. I hate the word "empowerment" but yeah, I do enjoy my job a lot.

When I worked as a grocery bagger, I didn't get a pension or a 401K or health insurance either. Pretty sure an 18 year old high school graduate is going to have a hard time getting a job that offers any of those things. I have friends with college degrees who work in fields that require college degrees and don't offer

Police really like raping sex workers. They have sex during stings and take the money back after the arrest pretty much all the time in every state.

I thought LW2 mentioned Marina's trans status to explain why she wasn't invited in the past and also why she's offended about not being invited now, but I still think you're making a good point.

Nope, it's not the majority. It's not even a significant portion. Cite your sources please, and then look very closely at the methodology by which they came to those conclusions.

I'm a sex worker and I follow sex worker rights pretty closely, including SWOU.

Why do people like you always feel the need to go on about "empowerment" regardless of what is being said? Seriously, that word is nowhere in the article, and the article itself is entirely focused on labor rights and safety for workers.

FYI there's no known "top sex trafficking hub" although there are a lot of claims going around. Here you will find a list of cities and states that have been described as "top sex trafficking hubs."

I also think your little commenting lesson is pretty stupid. :)

I know what you're getting at, I just think it's really stupid.
