WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Let me taste your tears little Brewers fan.
I thought we wanted government out of the bed room?
I was a little surprised they didn't schedule the IL series between these two in St Louis this year given its the 70 year anny.
Without the Red Sox, this place is going to fall all over itself the further the Cardinals make it.
If we win another Series you may hear a faint pop, and it will be the sound of the collective heads of these guys exploding.
It's going to be another one of those months huh?
Cards made the playoffs a few days ago, officially. But they're focused on the division and as far as I know haven't celebrated yet.
Note, those are division winners. Pirates have simply made the "playoffs". Unless they take the division away from STL they may be done in one game.
I really want to answer this, but I'm going to sip my tea.
And it would maybe save us one of those damn repeat bookend commercials.
I'd add in killing the DH since the American League hasn't played actual baseball in forever.
I always thought this sort of thing was isolated to other cities, other football cultures. I'm a Rams fan and fuck me right?
Clearly someone needs to get laid . . . or if they are they need to find someone better to get laid with.
As this article droned on, and don't get me wrong I actually agree with a lot of it, it turned away from valid criticism and into the sort of hyperbolic and heavy handed rhetoric that makes this place unbearable at time - and thus easy for people to ignore.
I was going to go ahead and dive into this discussion because I have some fairly strong opinions.
I actually used to sort of like hearing Bill Polian.
Here's my opinion as we move further and further away from the epicenter of reaction:
As opposed to previous generations that had the Cold War - nuclear war to worry about or a World War with a holocaust at the center of it or a World War fought over an assassination or a Civil War .... the worlds history is not without consistent conflicts and threats to peace with intervals of seeming peace.
You seized on exactly what I said yesterday.
What has been seen can't be unseen.
