What exactly are you talking about? The film shows that Clark routinely saved lives no matter the situation or the person. From the guys on the platform to the kids in the bus. It was a drive for him, natural that he had the power and used it to save or protect people.

It is an objective statement. As a discerning fan of the character, I'm pretty hard on Superman productions. I'll take it all in, but I have no hesitation in being critical if something doesn't meet muster. And that includes the Reeve films, which outside of Reeve himself were a complete mess.
