What shocks me is that of all of these breakdowns I've read, the Lions fans to this point have been the most emotional about it.

Another favorite phrase - on paper.

Again, its just still so cute to see people so hopeful.

I can't believe the stories of Lions fans being overly hopeful are true.

Detroit is still a city? It's not a town or a village yet?

The Lions should have called Lovie and offered him the job on the spot before even firing Schwartz.

I guess Blomkamp and JJ Abrams had a bet to see who could deny the obvious about their films the longest.

I've been catching up on your reviews and generally they're good.

As a conservative I'm actually perfectly fine with traditionally liberal messages passed along in films. Usually there is some depth to them as well as some measured review of the other point of view that shows us that we're not actually at war with each other but simply two understandable but different sides to a

I completely agree with you point about being in control. It's an issue I discuss often with regard to birth control and sex and female empowerment. Not that a woman should be solely responsible for the cost in a relationship, mind you. But that if it were my body I'd want to be the one in charge rather than

I love how women can get away with condescending and deriding the other gender like that. The "man as child or neanderthal" shtick is getting old. It's sexist and I'm tired of it.

Of course I often bring up segregation era baseball during discussion of PEDs and our obsession with over deifying the past at cost of today.

Since we wasted time with Congressional hearings over PEDs that lead to the current cynical outlook of MLB can we go ahead and have some hearings on NCAA and its practices.

Well, I know part of my issue is that I prefer classic style uniforms. The Packers, the Steelers, the Giants, etc.

Ok, ok . . . clearly the Bengals have higher priority issues. A stereotypical weasel owner as well as a team wasting a ton of talent. Both clearly front running issues.

I've often questioned this myself - whats the science behind how much PEDs help? We all play eyeball scientist and look at how far a ball travels or how big a guy is and use that test to label players if they don't fail a test.

Probably more like can't read....

For the record, I'm not a Falcons fan and I'm not down on my team either.

Not to mention illegal pass defense being allowed to help win a Championship . . .
