You will pry my PvP hand cannon from my cold, dead hands. Which probably won't take long because I'm using a hand cannon in the Crucible, but I DON'T CARE.

I really want to like Destiny but this sort of thing is turning me off of the game very fast. I am a Level 25 Hunter and 40+ hours in game and have had only 1 purple engram drop in game and it turned into a blue. Absolute bullshit. The only purple/legendaries I have came from the cryptarch when I leveled him up,

Got this doing Crucible matches as end of match reward. No decryption needed.

every time I've gotten a legendary it's been my class specific item. Which looks really cool but doors literally nothing to better my character aside from aesthetics. And I'm trying to level future war cult right now, so I can't even wear the dam things.

I've been told by quite a few people that what you get from the engrams via the Cryptarch depends on his rank or something. The higher the rank, the better stuff you're supposed to get.

I've only picked up one purple engram and it turned into....ascendant energy.

The weird part is that they don't mention Cryptarch level at all, afaik it affect your decrypt rate, but yeah, it's still a big black box; i still don't understand why people want to have everything when the game is barely two weeks old i mean, this is partly an MMO, reaching max level shouldn't be THAT easy

Nah that's to logical a fix that it'll never happen

Is it just me or does the transfer ratio look just about right? Purple drops = a super high chance of it being a legendary (34%) vs a blue drop (4%). Granted you don't have this GIANT chance of getting a purple like you do with green to green, blue to blue, but at the same time people aren't supposed to be able to get

13 for armor, 23 for gun, 23 motes for an engram.

This system. This is fair.

Yea in 8 days you can easily have full legendaries if you're smart about what you do.

I wasn't going to go there, but it does seem entirely possible from a company with no history of microtransactions. No idea if they'll know how to do it right.

I got two purple items (one of them being a Legendary scout rifle! my favorite gun haha) from the engrams you get from leveling up with the Cryptarch last night, I was mindblown, usually I just end up with blue items or maybe a coin. I'm also not sure why it's such a big issue? You can buy pretty much any Legendary

I really, really love the aesthetics of wearing glasses, and had tried to stop myself ranting...but nope. They're thick rimmed but dotey; near round but not oval, nor rectangular, but some odd hybrid like he doesn't know what he wants to be cus he's not bright eyed, yet he's big eyed but with a serious edgy

Wow, I have never been into Pokemon ever. I think I was just too old when it became popular so it never caught on with me. Anyone 32 and loves the shit out of it? I also feel the same way about Power Rangers. But thank goodness I was younger when TMNT came out. I still love anything that has to do with em too.

Woah, wait a minute. This is the Super Metroid / Brawl armor design— Samus has her old suit as an alternate costume instead of just the Other M look? Cool!

My guess is they are just being cheap as fuck and don't want to actually create an entirely new engine and assets for the series. By going PS2->PSP->Wii->3DS they've barely increased the power at all so it's still acceptable to put out a game that looks like MH.

Yeah, I buys because on steam sale that I would never buy at full price. In face I have about 10 games in there at I still need to play. I get the perspective but don't really agree. People buy because there is a sale and they feel they are getting a deal thats why we have sales.

If people want your game, they'll buy it at any price (why else are certain companies getting away with $60+ price points), but if there's any concern or mistrust in the consumer that the product that they are going to receive isn't worth the asking price, they aren't going to pay for it. It's simple and doesn't
