Meh, I missed Blount's tweet that actually did call Sherman out. Doesn't change the fact that Sherman is getting all the attention he craves by acting like a complete blowhard, and some people still think he's somehow clever or anything but an asshat.
Yes, Blount made the conversation confrontational when he congratulated a friend and called him the best corner in the game. Because Sherman is the only one allowed to proclaim himself the best! No one better even THINK anyone else is better, or they'll get what's comin' to 'em.

No love for Joel Anthony?
You know Nike doesn't really make a shoe called "Fumes" right.........?
Taj Gibson got his hands on the loose ball, not Noah. I mean, not that it really matters, but there were plenty of plays from this game alone that demonstrate your point better than Noah taking a pass from his teammate, dribbling up the court unguarded, and handing the ball off to Snell.
Well, my handle won't give me much of a chance to claim impartiality, but these weren't the two best teams. We already saw the two best teams play two weeks ago in Seattle, when the Seahawks pulled off a nice comeback win over the 49ers. Denver would have been the 3rd-best team in the NFC West.

I'm with you on EW. Not a fan. I actually had no idea until I read this that it was well regarded in any circle.
Maybe just, like, guard someone?

I saw your analogy. I'm not really sure why you chose two NorCal schools to make a point about LA and SF, but I'll roll with it. It comes down to the same thing: more Cal folks hate Stanford because Stanford is objectively more hateable than Cal, just as more SF folks hate LA because LA is objectively more hateable…
If people from SF hate LA, and people from LA love SF, doesn't that prove the point that SF > LA?
Not to mention he only played 26 games in his 3rd season.
I'd be surprised if any school topped Cal's current skill positions in the NFL. Aaron Rodgers, Marshawn Lynch, Desean Jackson, and Tony Gonzalez, with a few other up-and-coming guys like Keenan Allen, Shane Vereen, and Marvin Jones. That team would put up some points.
And? Sioux Falls is less than a 4 hour drive from Minneapolis. It's not like the kid lived in Nepal.
Somehow it's better that he didn't even know the kid existed? What a guy. Good father.
It's not a fundamental change to the position, as it only affects how it is played at the professional level, and even then in only a handful of plays each season. I would hazard to guess that most catchers don't choose the position solely because of their love for home plate collisions. There are multiple former big…
