I actually made that same comment to a friend...I think their attempt to Americanize the show took away some of the special "oomph" Torchwood had. It's not the same show, though I can't put my finger on anything specific other than some funky pacing. But it's more than that...I just hope it steps it up a bit.

Valentines Day and now this remind me of Love Actually, which was actually a decent romcom. It's like they took the idea and said "if we through in half a dozen MORE well named actors, it'll be twice the fun!" Instead, it's bloated and all of the storylines and their resolutions are shown in the trailer.

I guess this is where opinion is subjective. ;) I don't think he's the greatest actor in the world, or even in the top 10, but I've also seen some big-name actors with less talent. I thought he did a fair job in TSN, and I enjoyed Friends with Benefits. (Parts of it were slow, but that's the fault of the director, not

He's technically omnisexual...but when was the last time we saw him hook up with a woman or "other" instead of a man? Flirting with robots in DW and finding out about grown children don't count.

I like Timberlake's acting and comedy skill. Still not a fan of his singing, though!

But I wonder how much outside society influences their decisions of what they want to do. My 8-year-old son avoids things he considers "girl" things (and I'm a single mother, as well, so there's no influence from the other parent). He didn't want to see Tangled or the Princess and the Frog. Yet when I got them on

My (first) baby niece's due date was my birthday. I told my sister-in-law (brother's wife) that the only birthday present I wanted was to share a birthday with Baby Girl! She failed to comply and instead had my niece on my brother-in-law's (sister's husband) birthday a week later. But I love the cutie any way!

It's nice to see a bit of personality on their faces and see how much fun they're having! Models are often so serious/bland expression wise in photos and on the runway that it's sometimes easy to forget they are real people that do real things. I love it!

Ah, but we send our kids to day camp and take care of them in the evenings. ;) Sleepaway camps cost more because you're paying for three meals and around-the-clock care (plus all of the activities, of course). I spend $100-$150/week on daycamp, depending upon the camp. For overnight camps, depending upon

Seriously, I am floored with how much I like Timberlake. I was never a boy band fan, and I'm still not a huge fan of any of his solo work, but I totally love when he's on SNL and whatnot. I never would have thought I'd see a movie with him starring in it, but I've already made plans to go see Friends with Benefits

Question for people who own hard copies of the newest book - My epilogue appears to have been stapled in after the rest of the book. It's about half an inch shorter than the rest of the pages, and the tops are still connected (serrated, so I *could* maybe separate them without tearing, but it's iffy).

I guess because of the inflection of his voice, I took it to mean he said he's actually *hurting.* Not that he is simply hurt. You're probably right, but it just caught my attention.

About the Jack/hurt thing...

The last time I pre-ordered an e-book, it didn't show up until 2 p.m. EST. I was very disappointed with that! However, I ordered it through bn.com for my nook, so perhaps it'll be different for Amazon.

After watching John Barrowman's video, I'm a bit confused. I seem to recall them saying that Jack feels every death. But Barrowman says something about Jack being shocked about "arm pain." Since when does Jack not even feel pain? Am I remembering things incorrectly?

Re: Your number seven is a huge spoiler.

From what I've gathered, it will be airing on Netflix like most other Starz shows. However, they will be waiting 90 days to put it online. So you will be able to see it, but you'll have a wait.

That's a good point about the number of child actors...and the actress *is* really good (or at least I enjoyed her performance in The Tudors).

I saw that. Is it juts me, or does she look too old for that role? I know they've aged some of them up a bit...but that's a bit much. She's supposed to be 15.

Yes! (My favorite example is always "gravity")
