This entire comment thread is so confusing and is the reason I hate the new system. Makes no sense why all of Turbineguy's comments are on the top even though they are replies to comments near the bottom. I have no idea what the conversation is.
As long as you are taking responsiveness requests, I'd also like to suggest a counter display for the number of replies to a comment. If a comment is generating a lot of interaction, I'm more liekly to click on it to expand and see what's being talked about.
Yes new Kinja is literally slowing down how fast I can consume the comments. Extra scrolling & button clicks to expand comments is adding time delay to the experience. The Kinja backend may be faster/better but the UI design is sucking time away.
