I guess I haven't watched a race in while. I didn't realize they stopped refueling as well... Thanks to everyone for posting the nice link to wiki to explain.

I like the layout. It lets me refer up to the picture they are talking about. For short blurbs like this it doesn't matter as much, but when the descriptions are long I don't want to scroll past the text I am about to read to see the pics.
Thanks for posting. I like the sliding features much better.
Why are you singling out Ascension Parish? In St. Tammany Parish many of the polling places are schools, and we don't want to have kids in school while voting is taking place there. I assume other states and counties do this as well. Is school canceled for the day for any areas near anyone else?
More radioactivity? Do you have a source for this because I would like to read it. I'm all for nuclear, but does coal really release radioactivity?

The possibility of snow, hurricane force wind, and storm surge can cause massive power outages. Better to be prepared than not.
usually water does not stop working during hurricanes. People who use a well pump wont be able to pump w/o power. City water probably wont stop working, but its a good idea in case it does.
I like the GIFs since I can't access you tube at work.
they're easy to cook? That seems strange, although I ate the eggs I still had in my fridge. Bread is the thing our stores ran out of for Isaac.
We got the phone line because of this reason. With my alarm company it costs a little more quarterly to have the cell or broadband monitoring, but is less than my phone bill once you include all the taxes. We are considering making the switch soon, but my wife likes having the land line.
Agreed. When I first read it all I could think is "isn't air already a gas?"
it also lets you set a keyboard shortcut. By default F4 does the job.
Maybe we can get a top 10 of home automation systems. I am considering the x-10 as its less expensive. Are there any other good options?
Will this have an effect on insurance deductibles? In hurricane prone area we have higher deductibles for "named windstorms." I assume this will not as they are not named by NOAA, but if that changes in the future, it may affect insurance policies.
I'm thinking the same thing.
I just wish my GPS would consider that stop lights add significant time to a route and stop attempting to direct me to the "faster" route with more red lights.
