If you look at jodark's comment history (and, please do), you'll see that he finds delight in belittling and disparaging minorities and women. In this case, he's decided that he will use the Oatmeal's article to disparage "Tech Guys", however loosely he wants to define them it won't matter. He's driven by hatred. This

This is an internet SUPER JALOP post: "I am pure focus and drive"

The interaction between man and machine can only be made once man is willing to accept the machine for what it is.

Don't care. Electric cars have no soul.

You're right I usually gloss over your posts because they're either hyper-critical or typical internet SUPER JALOP boasting, apparently I don't know what you drive. How do you know so much about this car's "soul"?

The FEEEEEEEEEEEELING/ No Manual=No Want argument is so worn out here it's lost all merit. Truth be told you have no clue what this Turbo feeeeeeeeeeeels like, you just want to complain that a $200k car you'll never own doesn't come with a 7 speed manual. IIRC... you drive a Camry, correct?

If this site was around back then, they would have I think.

Nailed it. I'm already regretting reading the comments.

They made it because it was the pinnacle of automotive technology at the time. If a PDK and this AWD system was available at the time they would have put it to use too. The Turbo is about building the best 911. Going RWD and manual goes against what a 911 Turbo is.

This is the best looking 991 911 in the lineup. Much more intimidating than the GT3. The last generation turbo seemed to be sort of "meh" compared to it's rivals, but this turned it around.

To be fair, a manual RWD version of this car would kill you. You'd be as dead as that skeleton.

Honestly, this is probably the best all-around car in the world. Faster than unholy hell, beautiful, efficient, will probably be reliable too as Porsches have been so far. AWD gives it plenty of all-weather usefulness, and it's small enough to park anywhere yet has enough space for all the luggage two people could

Dat ass on the Turbo is amazing in person. It is the first time I saw a 911 that looked exotic to me.

There's something about the 991-gen 911 that just hits all the right ocular spots. It appears lower and wider than a 997 ever did, especially from the back. Like the Carrera 4 S, the tweaks made to the Turbo transform the base 991 from something pretty to something gorgeous.

It will be a hybrid. It will run on gasoline and the power of Fanboy Hate.

And all 43 of those won't be purchased by ANYONE who follows Jalopnik.

Variant is the term often (always?) used for VW wagons, so how 'bout SportWagen GTV? I suppose if we were to get a more sporting wagon, it'd be something akin to the Variant R-Line Concept unveiled at Geneva last year.

For all people talk about wanting a brown, manual, diesel, AWD wagon, about 40% of that limited population are actually in a financial position to go out and buy or lease a new one. Of those people, about 50% would actually buy a VW, based on perceived or actual brand quality/reliability. Of those people, maybe 40%

Looks like Avon Tyres has a division specifically for historic racing. Even the Tyrell P34 is running their tires at historic events.
