Some Cubans. Mostly Russians.

Russians are looking pretty bad lately.

Nothing from the 80's is safe anymore, is it? Enough with the remakes!

Good for you. I've found that I do not have the energy for political debates on the net anymore.

Ahem.

Love that cover.

Yeah, but you just know it's not gonna live up to our expectations. How could it?

I love Atwood, but I'm not sure you can argue that her works "changed science fiction forever".

Frankenstein. Yes. Definitely needs to be on this list.

All over the world we have hunger caused by the consequences of central control and authority and micromanagement of markets. It is entirely feasible that this will happen in the US without major reforms.

I had never heard of Battle Royale. It's a good movie, but I don't find it hard to believe that she came up with this idea on her own. It's not that original of an idea.

Oh, I've only seen the Hunger Games films. Couldn't stand her writing.

That's a good point. After taking another look at the title of the article, I came back down to Earth. I agree. Those books changed a lot in the publishing world (along with Harry Potter).

Always wanted to read Dhalgren. I've read most of Azimov's robot stories, but not the Foundation books. I have some very old copies of those that were given to me by my dad. A plug from Paul Krugman doesn't incentivize me to read them, though, to be honest.

Hunger Games, but not 1984 or A Brave New World, or before those, We. Wow. Just wow.

I didn't like Clash of the Titans at all. They're just not good films. But everyone has their thing, right?

I don't think he has charisma. I said that in another post somewhere, but yeah, I disagree. Also, my opinion.

Yeah, The Rundown wasn't bad.

Ok.

I'm not buying it. Sorry.
