It would have to be either an Audi, or a Mercedes-Benz (Steve Jobs' choice car after all was a Merc). It would have clean lines, plenty of power (competitive within it's segments), a simple naming strategy, and not be the easiest car to work on at home.

Not only that, it's also better looking than that $400,000 "tiburon" to boot.

EEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!! I just finished a long night working on a big project, came home to check up on the usually slow Jalopnik weekends, and what do I see?? Something awesome!

I'm sure that would be the case if this article is true. Still though, if you have an assistant willing to hunt down an identical SL55 AMG every six months, wouldn't that same assistant be willing to have it registered for you also? And it's not like he hated the look of a rectangular license plate, he had a chrome

That's possible, but that's a lot of trouble to go through every six months, and being as this is Steve Jobs, I find it hard to believe that he would do that. He worked at what was essentially his campus, so it's not like Apple security (I'm assuming they have their own security) would ticket their CEO for not having

I find that hard to believe, not the loophole, but that Steve Jobs cared enough to switch out his car every six months. I watched the Sixty Minutes documentary on him the other night, where Walter Isaacson talks about asking Jobs about his plateless Mercedes, to which Jobs eventually replies something along the lines

I know, it's fantastic, I just wish the interior matched the exterior! The new "slab" wheel design accents the trucks broad body sides well, definitely one of my favorite parts.

OK, it's one thing to screw up the final award winner for TOTY, but to have a list of nominees in which includes zero trucks? That's ludicrous.

Fifth Gear: I'm by no means a fan of the waterfall grill treatment, but I'd rather see it stick around than the much more problematic nomenclature for the cars themselves. MK who what now? Oh, and they could stand to lose a few crossovers from their lineup; no one will know, they all look the same (in varying degrees

We did have a similar contest awhile back, around Christmas time. Where the commenters, led by Brtstlnd and Optixtruf, submitted the most epic opposite lock photos for a chance to win a game. I forget the handle name of the commenter that won the Forza game, but I remember his avatar was the star of David (if that

It's probably not long enough to win these days (not that long is a bad thing), but I must nominate anyway! #COTD

I think you just won the internets.

Are we feeling Irish today lads? Question 'o the day? The Question of the Day tag is wrong (unless it's intentional, then ignore me.)

I hear Apple is planning on erecting a giant stone obelisk (think Washington Monument in scale) to Steve with these very quotes adorning the sides in the center of the new Apple Campus 2 main office building. When asked for comment, newly appointed CEO Tim Cook replied, "Steve has been an incredible leader and mentor

*applauds* Awesome, and well said, we automotive enthusiasts have a job to do! Congrats on reaching stardom, and here's another heartclick to go with it. Oh, and a #COTD nomination.

Even in Kenya! I'd say Wall Drug would have been a much better choice than the Corn Palace, after all, they have jackalopes. Not to mention how close it is to the badlands, which are also awesome.

Last year my family took a trip up North (on the way to Yellowstone and the Tetons), along the way we stopped at the Corn Palace, and I have to say I was disappointed. I expected a palace made of corn, not essentially a high school gymnasium with corn nailed to the walls; that said, it's pretty amazing what kind of

My sentiments exactly. It's interesting to see the murals made from corn, but at the end of the day, it's essentially just your average gymnasium covered in ears of corn and surrounded by small shops.

Oh, good, I wasn't the only confused one. :-D

It has a bit of an underbite, that, or it has a dip in its mouth; either way they can keep it, that thing is ugly. It should fit in nicely in the appliance aisle at your local Toyota Store (I think I've actually heard them refer to their dealerships as "stores" — how fitting).
