Hmmm...just looks like a bunch of guys sawing in a sunro....OH MY THAT'S A GALLARDO!!!!
+3
I don't think the Camaro eclipses the Z06 at all performance wise, just in numbers and HP aggressive nostalgic looks. You could be right about the those holding out for a C7 over buying a C6 now, maybe that explains a lot in terms of what I've read about the SS stealing vette sales.
First off, I'm jealous of you - not fair! Second off, I agree with you that the Corvette is undoubtedly a better performer with a great sound track aggressive looks all its own; I just wonder how the ZL-1 will affect future sales of the lesser horsepower Z06 (from the standpoint of the typical American idiot that…
I don't know how you do it, but this may be your what? 4th or 5th #cotd? Not to say you got it yet, but I'm submitting my #cotdnomination.
Heartclick for that....
ha! ...heartclick for that - How haven't I done this already?
This has unfairness written all over it!!! It also has awesome dad to let his kid drive an R8 at such an age, and in a safe environment to boot. Of course the look on his face after he finished was more of a scowl than a "OMG I JUST DROVE DAD'S R8!!!", which leads me to believe this could be a spoiled brat....
YES! Diesel powered CARS are making there way into the US!!! More, more, more, MORE! I know we have some TDIs from VW and various Mercedes, but It's nice to see US brands selling them.
Couldn't agree more!
Honestly, I really like the Camaro, not as much as the Corvette mind you, but I do like it. It has polarizing looks that you either love or hate; looks that I hope will bring it (and the CTS-V line for that matter) the same quirky recognition that the Nomad has garnered in its classic years (I doubt it'll ever be…
I hadn't thought of the sharing of parts, that may allow this to work. I just don't want to see the loss of the iconic Corvette to the Camaro. I love muscle car wars, but can our sports cars keep up as well?
True, I can understand that, but will that premium cost us the Z06?
They absolutely do; however, will that be enough to convince somebody to buy it over the retro looks of the Camaro, and the allure of the muscle car? Or perhaps one of those Jersey Shore types that buy a car solely on looks alone as to look cool in it - the same type that would buy a Lamborghini if only they had the…
Right, I agree with that, but with the nostalgic looks, and huge numbers, I can see many people buying the ZL-1 over the Z06 on that basis alone — considering it may not even see track use. Not to mention the SS is already eating into sales (I'm pretty sure I read that on Jalopnik) as it is.
.....you are the trickiest commenter yet. :-D
Clearly I've been very confused this past year, as I was sure you were a Ms. Or is $kaycog confused? :-)
