I would like to see a cien come out....as some of the other commenters suggested. The hybrid theory sounds right though. Also, could the Rzrektd_Brd not get close enough to see if it's a mid engine?

its no surprise that its silver....If he could have gotten it in BMW's "frozen Gray" matte finish he would have.

I'm looking forward to this. Its nice to see an American Super Car that LOOKS like a super car and not like a kit car (sort of), even if it's a bit generic. Maybe it'll show the folks at TopGear that the colonists can actually build a good car, although, I won't be holding my breath on that one.

@spiegel1: nice job! I had put the follow button (or whatever the heart is) into use today - for the first time.

@Nürburgring: Varsity Jalop: AND GET OFF MY LAWN! <<I thought that could make a nice addition to your post. :-P ...I agree though, there's been a few occasions when I've thought that same thing.

Gandini is a lot like a pastry chef. Both make some of the best looking, and most "tasteful" "wedges" in the world. <<this made me think of desert...a wedge of cheesecake would be nice.

well this is disappointing - my dad worked for GM for 30 years, and I hate to see it lead by a guy that "isn't a car guy."

I'm a fan of the ecojet myself...

My favorite modern one-off would have to be Bentley's Continental GT Shooting Brake. What could be better than speed, style, and functionality?

@Maximus Decimus Meridius: just hope none of them ever decide to push the trunk release! (unless of course it is key only)

I'll take a 1971 Lamborghini Miura. Although, there are tons of v12s out there, and any of them would be acceptable.

well, at least he's getting to use his R8, better than letting it rot in a garage I guess. (Although, if I owned one, strapping anything to its roof would be out of the question)

@Rock517: Yeah, I see what you're saying. After all this time I never noticed! I'd also like to point out that I didn't intend on sending you four different replies saying the same thing (computer was acting up).

@Rock517: I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out, I just looked closer and saw the amber bulbs...oops my bad.

maybe I'm missing something here, but I'm pretty sure that looks more like 69 nose, at least it seems like the 69 RS style grille to me. Also, those are 69 style fog lights I think.

@lilwillie: I'll let you know, the dealership is just a few miles from me! :-D

I saw this on Pickuptruck's facebook page. Blue Springs Ford is just a few miles from my house. If I'm ever out that way I'll have to check out the lot (I'm sure they've moved the cars by now). I did get to see this on the news though.
