There needs to be a way to send out emails like this to all employees in a company and track who falls for it. Then training for the dangers of phishing will be much more effective. Of course you wouldn’t record what they actually enter in the fake form but simply redirect to a PLEASE REPORT TO HR IMMEDIATELY page.

It’s like a crock pot. You put it away unless you are using it.

Good points about applying bright-line rules to your life, but Miranda is probably the least “bright-line” case you could have chosen to use as an example.

Exactly this. People complain if they have to spend half the price of a cup of coffee on an actual useful tool that someone had to create. Ridiculous.

I’m using Vivaldi now. It hardly ever stalls and crashes like Firefox. I’ve tried every version of FF and it never gets better....same with IE.

Three other pieces of wisdom helped be with a formerly vicious inner critic.

No MS Access?

Finally. Every time a Fox News story pops up, I die a little inside.

You’re the missing the word “free” in your first sentence. Which completely changes the context of your message. There’s plenty of good cloud services- they just cost money. You’re not entitled to anything for free. Run your own server if you want that.

As an amputee passenger frequently in a power wheelchair, who travels a fair bit, I find this article hilariously naive. It may work that way at one or two airports, but not at the ones I’ve traveled to in the last couple of years. Knowing what to expect? I’ve been treated differently *at the same checkpoint* twice in

Have they separated the tabs into individual processes yet? This alone has kept me from making Firefox my main browser. When one page stalls, the entire browser stalls which I can’t stand.

Not strictly related (but it is Mental Health Week!), but I was reading an article on Psychology Today about reasons therapy can be helpful for pretty much everyone: You are the common denominator in all your relationships, so working on yourself is also improving your relationships with all those people! :)

It’s interesting that I read articles like these on Lifehacker not because I believe they will help me, but to instead see how easily my depression can overwhelm whatever is suggested.

Here are a few of the reasons I appreciate SwiftKey vs the stock keyboard (in no specific order):

Wow. I don't have words. So, here's a gif:

Make new ones! I've sort of been in your situation. I'm a very femme lesbian whose only friends are gay guys because I'm not lesbian enough to be a lesbian. Since I came out at 15, the gay guys took me in. However, I've been in your "accessory" position. When you're used as part of an itemized list to read another man

My solution is a quick and dirty notes file on my cell. I have a file called "books" and whenever someone mentions one I might want to read, I immediately pull out my phone and add the book to that file. If a physical copy of the book is around (say, at bookstore or at someone's house), then I use the cell to snap a
