If your first reaction is to accuse me of being a racist because I questioned the medium for an essay I thought was well-written, than you have a lot to think about.
I don't really get it either. Frankly these people who claim to get it, but refuse to tell you the point - I don't think they get it either.
Not anymore, unfortunately. It's lost it's meaning through misuse, and the connotation of "class" (meaning economic "class" ) is really not so nice.
