I think at this point she benefits from being a woman in democratic circles. Not with ultra right nut jobs who hate women, but regular people.
Well said.
Who are these people for whom these looks are make up free?!
Kanye has some type of intelligence. He is also troubled and possibly narcissistic but he’s gifted.
He’s also made some truely horrible movies. Like the one with Colin Firth and Emma Stone.
It’s a not a happy go lucky experience. And if you loved Blue Valentine, it’s not more depressing really.
The Place Beyond The Pines is a good movie, see it.
Your list is intensely varied.
Wow, finally someone found a good reason to run 42 km!
If we vote Sanders we can.
Haha no I hadn’t!
Wasn’t it that he realized he was being fooled by Luthor and thus could trust Superman? It had obviously made much more sense if he had listened to Superman right off the bat (haha) but it just didn’t seem that insane to me. I’m obviously affected by my reality.
In one way it seems silly, in another way as a person who has lost a parent I think I might react similiarly in the same situation. Grief makes you do odd things. Like I love everyone she loved, I warm when I talk to people who have her name, I hate anyone she didn’t like, I keep things because she used them, I walk…
I thought Gadot was horrible. She looked the part for sure but she doesn’t seem great at acting. Affleck was decent I thought. His bitter, tired Batman was suited.
I once hugged a muscular man and wondered why I hadn’t gone for them all my life. It was comfortable and all encapsulating.
I wasn’t talking about the movie, I said Gyllenhaal’s performance deserved a nomination. It was scary good acting. It was an uncomfortable watch, my friend sat och covered his eyes from time to time (I freelance as a critic and see movies often and am thus a bit hardened).
That’s an unfair charachterization of Marlon Brando who spenat a lot of time helping the less fortunate all his life.
But Peter O’Toole lost “Laurence Of Arabia” to Gregory Peck for “To Kill A Mockingbird” which was an immense performance.
I’m in your camp, I never felt he was outright robbed...even if I can’t recall who won instead of him.
