Request: Point out when apps are universal or will just be stretched on the iPad.

Super-late reply, but that's interesting. I had heard "murk" lots of times before, and just assumed it was "merc" like "mercenary" (even in verb form, as in "i'm gonna go mercenary on you" or whatever).

The hinge is mostly unimportant, as it just disconnects from the face magnets, then reconnects to the side magnets (where the hinge usually connects).

After having a Dodocase on my iPad 1 for several months, the biggest thing I look for in an iPad case (that the Dodocase lacks) is durability and build quality.

"murk" should probably be "merc", as in "mercenary".

"Shaun of the Dead"

I'm not sure sarcasm is what you think it is.

I don't think March Madness On Demand will track your bracket unless you're doing their Bracket Challenge, for which the signups are closed.

LOLOLOL. Wait, no, nevermind. I'm not in junior high anymore, which is where pointing out minor physical imperfections in people we know nothing about was actually funny.

Flying car, here I come!

It looks like a really crappy version (hopefully because it's just a sneak peek and isn't done yet) of the TMNT movie animation (which I really liked).

I was thinking the same thing about NPH.

Gee, thanks, Giz, for eating my comment just now. A site can be ugly and work great or look great and be kinda broken, but it really shouldn't be both.

I'm curious to see how the magnets affect the digital compass.

And by "most content", I assume you're measuring by filesize, right? Because MOST content on the internet is text and images. A very small portion is video, and frankly, a lot of that is playable on iOS, since the content providers are using h.264 video (which both flash players AND iOS support).

The Contour shoots in h.264. If you shot in 720p, you could theoretically use a microSD to SD adapter in the SD card dongle for iPad to transfer your videos over, then edit them in iMovie.

SickBeard actually has decent experimental torrent support. Basically, you set up a folder for it to drop .torrent files into, and the folder your torrent program will put the completed files into (for post-processing).

All of Gawker, now? Yeah, sure is. :(

It looks like you get bonus tetris blocks for building your tower (which is trying to destroy the other person's tower) by beating up/killing mobs that fly down from the sky.

Haw. Haw.
