@Platypus Man: I prefer using a trackpad on my laptop, but more because it keeps my hands close to the keyboard than because I like a trackpad over a mouse.

@bearproph: Their UI leaves a bit to be desired (it was pretty obviously designed by engineers, not UI designers), but it's straightforward.

@bearproph: I just sucked it up and bought iTap RDP. It's pricey, but a pretty solid app.

@weendex: Yeah, I noticed that on the InvisibleShield I had on my 3GS. It also definitely affects the swipe-ability of the screen (as do all screen protectors I've used, though).

This is just so our parents can be stalked and embarrassed by THEIR parents.

@AdamKaoru: It's not the display. Somebody at NASA just forgot to turn off the digital zoom option on the telescope.

Note for those trying at home: It's a *lot* easier with a sharp metal needle than it is with a wooden skewer. The wood will catch on the rubber and tear it instead of cleanly puncturing it.

@mikecoscia: Sure, for now it's useless, but now that they know it's possible, they can start making it more accessible, like they've been doing with superconductors.

I think this actually stands a decent chance of living up to the standard set by the original.

Yeah, mine's been crashy as all hell, but it tends to crash before loading a level, instead of after I beat a super-hard one or something.
