13 hours... to make a 7 hour trip.  I appreciate the feat however we have a long way to go before electric vehicles are viable for anything other than running around town.

Next time somebody goes, they should do what the NY Times reporter did, and simply drove the car how he saw fit. Why should anybody have to follow a secret recipe sauce in a car just to get to their destination?
