You still put together a rather comprehensive list.

Mercedes CLS63 AMG. There may be a few C-series AMG sedans to consider too. I'm just not a C-Class fan.

Only after Chuck Norris calls him out.

It doesn't take much shopping around these days to find parts far cheaper than the dealer or indi mechanic. My CL55 ran me just under $300 for basically what amounted to an oil change. They charged me $5 for a washer, a friggin washer. I decided next time I'll do it myself. Found all of the same OEM parts the indie

I've heard of people doing that. They've also tried an air ride system. Both work, but it doesn't handle the same. There's usually a bunch of body roll with either of those two options.

I have an 03 CL55 and I love it to death. Or debt in this case. The words are interchangeable here. The most expensive issue I've heard of is the ABC system which is a hydraulic version of Air-Matic found on other MB's. The pump and struts are expensive to replace. The valve blocks can be rebuilt with basic tools and

I roll around on 275's and it's like I can feel every seam along the road. God forbid it's wet out. I can't imagine what 345's feel like.

Definitely enough room for a V12 under that hood.

Ask and you shall receive

Airports that aren't a major hub for airlines. And those located in cities with air traffic low enough to not justify 24 hour service. My closest airport is considered "International" but still closes from around midnight to 4AM.

Coincidence or smart marketing? Either way, I like it.

LOL Very true.

I can definitely see the confusing part. Before I bough my CL, I had never heard of it referred to as the S-coup. But after meeting other CL owners and spending time in MB forums, I found that it was almost the norm in those crowds. Even Wikipedia called it the S-coupe a few times

Pretty much. The CL has always been referred to as the S-Coupe. Now Merc is rebadging it as such. I think it's to cut back on all the different model/classes. Just like the new E-coupe replaced the CLK, the S-Couple is replacing the CL.

It's fully automated. I wish they had added it to my CL back in the day. It's damn near impossible for me to reach my seat belt when wearing a sport coat.

The CL has always been the 2-door S-Class. The CL as a product line is being (for lack of a better term) renamed the S-coupe.

Good luck with that sensor. I'd say owning these cars is a Love/Hate relationship, but there just isn't anything that I hate about it.

I lusted after a black W215 in the parking garage at work for years. I finally have one and LOVE it. I do cringe when it comes time for maintenance. Fortunately I've learned to do a lot of the work myself. The engineering makes these cars pretty easy to work on. I can easily spin the tires from a 40mph roll with

Wait a second. Does this mean that BMW has new sedans in the 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 series?
