Wow, get out of my head! I could have written those exact sentiments, except less thoughtful and well stated.

If any of my fellow olds out there remember an old Nancy McKeon comedy called "Can't Hurry Love", she lived in a realistically tiny shithole of an apartment, and could only barely afford the rent. Part of the comedy was the bathtub in the kitchen, stepping over things to get around, etc. Bonus - Mariska Hargitay…
I work for a printing company. The Pantone Matching System is also the printing industry standard for ink mixing and color match. All ink companies and all offset printers use their ink matching system, so a designer can select a specific shade of blue, and any printer, any where, can match that color thanks to…
Betty always wore those gorgeous frilly nightgowns, and Megan sleeps in the nude. I think she was just processing the differences in the two women.
First thing I thought was, "what's up with those eyebrows, Boy George?"
Yep. And the fact that we're only "among the top 5" in penalties says to me that there are at least 4 other teams that are doing this as well.
I did that, too. Ten years ago. "I don't want to have lived my life and not spent at least part of it in New Orleans." Now I can't imagine living anywhere else.
Meh, I'm thinking it went down like this: She was walking around the house and missing her mom. There was a storm and the lights flickered. She remembered the way her mom would calm her when she was a little kid, and it brought her comfort. I don't read anything sinister or dangerous in this sweet story.
Come to New Orleans! They have 'em here!
I wonder if it's part of the Drew Brees Dream Foundation? At least that is legit.
Her methods will certainly not be any less effective than what the embattled police have managed to achieve so far. Pray on, sister!
I think it's the fact that they put it together in a matter of hours and were physically, literally present, instead of just virtually denouncing the rude douchebro on a website, that makes this story different. If every bullied kid had a group physically rally around them like this, how different would the world be?
This makes me so sad. He began my love for an English accent from when I was just a little Zoot. A beloved part of my childhood is now gone. RIP Mr. Jones.
I was wondering if maybe she's pregnant again. My money is on morning sickness.
Did you know that the Krewe of Muses goes to Children's Hospital every year, bringing the kids stuffed animals & throws so they don't have to miss Mardi Gras? They really do try to serve the kids in the area. Go Muses!
Mine, too. Fleurty Girl reported that over 100 people from the parade showed up at the Muses den for Emily Gras. The marching groups were blowing up Facebook on Friday morning, calling their members to get out of work, grab their costumes & leftover throws and get over there before 11am. Two local news teams were…
There are 3 parades the night of Muses, The Krewe of Muses runs a longer route than the other 2 parades. Most people gather on the main route where all 3 of them roll. Emily & her mom were at the extended part of the Muses route, which is always much less populated. I'm sure her mom thought it would be "safe"…
A city council member, Jackie Clarkson (2012 Honorary Muse actress Patricia Clarkson's mom) gave Emily & her mom tickets to view the parade from the viewing stands at Gallier Hall next year, so she'll be protected from drunken dudebros and hopefully not overwhelmed by sensory input.
I just love how William's father gently won her over. That scene was so sweet! I was cheering that she finally seemed happy and could accept his care. Don't you feel that she'll start visiting William's grave now, and happily burble away about her life and new opportunities to him?
I can't believe he would have done it for Mary's sake and not let the whole family know how indebted they were to him for it. That man does NOTHING for free. harrumph!
