To be honest, the age thing is changing significantly in women’s gymnastics. Most of the top American women are at least 18 right now. By 2020 you may see a team with multiple 20 year olds (same with the 2016 team). The same is true with many other countries as well.

My friend is a former ADA. She said women were much worse jurors for rape trials than men in her area. Something about women reflexively judging the victim and picking out all the things the victim did wrong to make themselves feel like a rape could never happen to them.

The only folks I know who can get cheap, fresh produce at the farmer’s market live in California. I don’t know what’s going on outside of Cali, but the farmer’s market everywhere I’ve been is too rich for my blood. And that’s saying something since fresh produce at the grocery store is already expensive.
