Previous owner being the dealer mechanic may have replaced many things I am unaware of, but for me, other than the electronic gremlins, it was a solid car. I took it on more than a few trips Chicago to Ft. Bragg NC while I owned it. You just couldn’t turn it off or your trip was extended by several hours.

I’m an old guy, but I trim my nose hair. My first car was a 1979 Buick Skyhawk which in 1987 I purchased for $1,000. It was Black with tan interior. It only had the 2.8 liter but with its manual 4 speed with a Hurst shifter, and positraction rear end coupled with custom dual exhaust (no cats) it was rather sporty. The

If you leave a track-day feeling guilty about what damage you may have done to the environment, you need a different hobby.

Maybe VW should mount a Takata death bag under there to keep pesky comedians at bay.

300hp without the rally ligts is all I need in a car...Ever. Traction control for winter race mode for summer. What could be better.

I like that it’s boxy looking. I don’t like that surrounding the windshield is a contrasting color. (Hate it on the new Fiat 124 as well.)

2nd gear: Is it realistic to expect any CEO to run to investors or the press the very second they hear about the possibility of a scandal?

News stopped being about news once it started to be about ratings.

NP. I would have preferred a Si, but you could always K swap it.

Kinda surprised the list didn’t get him more time.

Wait. This is the first hybrid that didn’t make me want to vomit upon first sight. It’s not bad looking.

In profile it looks like a Crown Victoria. I wouldn’t pay 8 grand for a car that looks like a Crown Victoria.

Sheep are herd animals. The animal that is separated from the herd becomes lunch for the predators. It saw the incoming threat and runs towards the other sheep in view not away from them. The fact the car is going faster than any land predator doesn’t compute. Hence the reason cars hit animals great and small every

I had a friend who had the Shelby Charger back in 86-87. It looked cool but was basically powered by stickers and the Shelby name. I don’t remember the Omni GLHS’s actually existing when they were new so I have zero nostolgia for this so I am in no position to rate it’s true value.

Reads headline; hears Benny Hill theme.

Put a Tiger in your tank and a cub in your cab.

Worked for this guy.

I considered something like this once, but the age requirements of the car and size of route to qualify let alone make enough money to cover a beloved car with spam didn’t add up for me. My car was too old, and my commute too short. It would have paid for gas, but I could have paid less for an ugly car too.

Looks like a Buick.

In 1987 I had a Army buddy who had an 85 IROC Z. He beat it to death in the standard redneck fashion. I’m not certain If pay 4g’s for a fairly whole mid 80's Camaro. I certainly wouldn’t for this heap.
