I have to vote for MS Word as I can journal SO MUCH faster in Word than on paper. That said, I completely forgot about OneNote. I may have to play around with that and see if I like it better. If it can save to .docx format, it may be better for general journaling overall.

I haven't yet found one program out of the hundreds I have installed that won't run on Win7 that would run on XP. In fact, I only have two—Canon PhotoPrint and Tivo Desktop Plus—that simply require to be run in Vista Compatibility mode. But once you set that, you never interact with it again.

It's been my main OS for a while now. I upgraded from Vista to Win7 beta, then upgraded from there to Win7 RC. It works great and fast, despite the fact that I haven't even done a clean install. I figure I'll do a clean install when the real thing comes out.

@Mike Tuttle: Thanks! That's where I grabbed it. Good stuff here.

I've successfully upgraded from a beta of Windows 7 using the changes posted here. Super-easy and runs great. Funny, too, this is actually a machine that had Vista on it, which I upgraded to Win 7 beta, now upgraded to Win 7 RC. Still runs smooth as ever. I'm sure a clean install would even be better. You got me at "productivity chops." :)

Wider screen is great, but until the price is right (ie MUCH lower), I don't have need for it. Right now, it's not even a consumer electronic I'd consider.

Well...it's a bit buggy and very slow, but the concept is very nice. I also wish the site had a better 2.0 feel.

I love it! Now I can get rid of GMinder—this is less intrusive and allows me to always have my agenda up. Thank you!

Edit: unless clearing your cookies WAS one of your goals...hmm...

LOL fun idea, but you clear your cookies and you've lost your goals!

I FAR prefer Amazon anyway.

@Zundfolge: Exactly. I just don't get these launchers. For that matter, doesn't anyone use the quicklinks bar anymore that's natively built into Windows? It does the same thing...

@LLane: Actually, it does happen in every email, but the email client of the receiver determines if they see it or not.

EXCELLENT! As someone who has completely moved from Outlook to gmail for all my business, I've always HATED the "on behalf of". Good news, indeed!

Don't forget LiveMocha.com! That's one of the best free online learning centers for other languages.

I've:

Greg Todd—thank you for releasing this! Very useful.

Cool, I hope it allows you to upgrade from older versions of Win 7 Beta. It's awesome.

Heh, I can't even get it to install in Windows. It gets about 75% done, then crashes. iTunes (the last version) still starts, but now it can't retrieve CD info from the Internet, it says.
