I personally strongly prefer Corel/Ulead Videostudio. Sad to see it didn't make the list (for Windows only).

More than organization, simplifying has done wonders for me. Rather than scan in everything I have, I shred anything except for critical documents—than scan those. And I've gotten rid of SO MUCH unneeded software, computer peripherals, etc, that I had around "for fun." And now life truly seems much more simplified and…
@S. Patrick Kaine: Thanks for that link!
Funny, when I open that panel in the current Win7 beta, I don't see the media options to uninstall. Must be upcoming...
LOL I think this funny as a tip. I've had my task bar 4x larger than usual for YEARS and put it on the right side of my screen rather than the bottom. With a widescreen monitor, you have plenty of room, can see a BUNCH of launching icons in large size and can still read the entire program information from open tasks.
@brodiemac: LOL seriously! I'm amazed that everyone is so into these quick launch add-ons. The one in Windows is more than adequate, supports hot-keys and is right where you'd expect it to be: By the Start menu.
Vote: Ulead/Corel Video Studio
Gasp! Wait! I take it all back!
Thank you! That's a nice Word '07 plug-in. Especially on a laptop when you're working under brighter light, the contrast here is beautimus. :P
Clutter can also be the things you collect. I discovered one day that I had 400 DVDs and nearly 700 CDs. I went through them, asking myself what I would REALLY want if the house were on fire.
Nice! Of course, they're right. :P
I can't believe there wasn't more support for itrackmine.com. Someone mentioned it in the poll and WOW I am very impressed. First, it's free. Second, it's very active. Third, it's great and online! Fourth, you can catalog your games, books, wine and more, too.
@qixx: Wow—itrackmine looks terrific. I'm going to try that out now. I love the custom lists...
@Eric: Wow, this one looks fantastic. Can you also keep custom lists, for instance books I've read but don't own, movies I've seen but don't own, that sort of thing?
I think a lot of these are interesting for cataloging movies you own, but I'd prefer one that catalogs not only movies, but also other media AND has the ability to create lists of movies seen, games played, books read and such, even if you don't own them.
As much as I love 7 over Vista, no, I wouldn't pay nearly $300 for it.
I hate how when using Dreamweaver 8 or Fireworks 8, the screen always has to change into Aero Basic in Vista. Shouldn't there be a way to avoid this?
@HaloZero: I think that depends on what you're doing. Yes, for email and Word, you don't need touch capabilities. But for zooming photos rotating images, it's much easier. And there's something to be said for the ease of just tapping on the icon of the program you want to open. Or even tapping on the refresh button in…
@JuryDuty: EDIT: I found it: 2GB. I'm getting 5GB with Syncplicity, so no DropBox for me.
I've been using Syncplicity for a while and LOVE it.
