@NecronomiconUK: Hey, my friends and I played that all the time on gamecube. I'm not sure why it's so underrated.

I've already got Steam on my windows machine and Ubuntu's software center on my linux machine.

@philosopher_dog: I know some minimalists who are assholes. They come over to my place and see all three cords running across my desk and tell me my cable management practices are shit and I should spend my money on wireless tech.

yeah I don't think my tower can rotate like that without something coming loose. Fortunately my antec three hundred has audio jacks and some usb ports conveniently on front, like most other computer cases.

Google voice will let you send a caller to voicemail and let you listen in, and you can also block callers and they will get the 'this number is not in service' message.

Right now with last.fm, the music stops as soon as you close the program. Why not give last.fm or pandora tighter integration and let me listen to it while playing games and stuff, just like with the 'regular' music player?

I visit friends often, and we usually just jam it onto a flash drive, but if it's something especially large one of us can join the other's homegroup and transfer that way. Kind of a pain though since I'll have to reset the homegroup to match the stuff I have at home.

Roommate drama affects everybody. Me and my roommate share a 2 bed apartment but our mutual friend shares a dorm room with a complete stranger. They got along for the first few weeks of college but now I guess things are tense because mutualfriend spends a lot of time at the apartment.

The rock-n-roll McDonald's in Chicago has the best trays ever. They have cupholders

@B Joseph Novida: Yep, I'm gonna set my iPhone 4 on top of the TV and use its puny camera and itty bitty screen to let my whole family sit on the couch and video chat with grandma. What a fantastic idea.

I've got an iPod touch, and I've got an android phone. It really is a close call between the two, but after comparing the two I definitely prefer the android system. iOS's always working-ness is always nifty, but at the end of the day I really love getting down and dirty with the system internals, replacing the

@chronsbons: If you add up the androids the race is pretty close. Stupid blackberries stealing our votes .

"SMS, Phone Calls, and More"

@TheAfroman: Twitter is ridiculous. People seem to go there to be advertised to, except the advertisers don't have to pay anything and the victims are willing. At least facebook has all my friends and family in one place.

Looks pretty minimal this time around. Hopefully not too much bitching about it.

@mindaika1: You new around here? Gawker blogs tend to do that.

This could replace computers as we know them. I do some freelance computer work for friends-of-friends type of people, and basically their usage is facebook, youtube, and maybe a couple of blogs of news sites. Put those features on a TV, and you've made the typical consumer-grade computer obsolete.

Well, it's nice to see I wasn't the only one hoping for springy snakes.
