IF you have one of those computer desks where as "feature" the tower sits in a little cabinet, TAKE IT OUT!! I decreased my temps significantly by moving the tower to the ground instead of in some stuffy cabinet. It's much quieter, too.

I get it for free through my college's MSDN subscription that they hand out to their students. Office is a good product IMO never had problems with it and I've never felt limited by it even though it isn't open source etc...

I'll reuse water bottles but I prefer to use my metal canister if I have it. It's wide enough for me to squeeze in some ice cubes if I want to, and far more durable than plastic bottles.
