This would have been awesome when I had to do research papers last year....
I almost ate it during high school math because the teachers were so damned boring. I usually understand the situation the first or second try, but everybody else needs a week, so I just end up zoning out while the teacher moans on in that freaking monotone voice... hold on I almost fell asleep at the keyboard thinkin…
I just use the wall. It's just white drywall. Nothing fancy at all.
@mewton: I personally like to view this like I do picking locks. It's a neat hobby. I have a drawer full of locks that I picked open manually (no pick guns) and I like to see how different sorts of locks work. I welcome seeing advice on LH about lockpicking and videos showing locks and new methods that I hadn't…

I like fences. Double-click on the desktop, and everything disappears. I also use it to organize my temporary files and GTD routine.
Not bad.. I hate it when windows just ignores the software volume and blasts its noises over my speakers when I shut down. Although I have simply disabled these sounds...
I don't get why all the tech blogs are trying to denounce desktops as dead.
Wave is pretty neat in theory, but once you simplify it, its just a giant live invite-only forum.
I went with the 'first initial-lastname" address before it got popular.
I use psShutdown from microsoft technet. I just have a scheduled event that automagically runs it for me. With the right -switches, you can make it just log you out, which is great for family PC's with users that, for some odd reason, close their programs but just can't figure out how to work the logout buttons. …
