Really all this highlights is that they're both using what is already dated hardware in what will undoubtedly be another long and stifled console generation where yet more people turn towards PC gaming for innovation and cutting-edge stuff.
I had never played a video game before (Master of Orion II was as close as I had come) and this trailer convinced me to try ME2. I then went on and played ME and ME3. I have not since felt the need to play any other game. It was a great trailer, and a great trilogy.
Hopefully EA gives Bioware a big enough delay this time to be able to properly develop the game, and not like ME3's delay where Bioware were only given an extra 3 months to develop the entire final Earth segment, including calling up Martin Sheen for additional lines and performing QA.
